Papa's Raw Bar

Had the ceviche. Only 4 pieces of fish for $21. They did fix it but still not worth the price. Flavor was great but price is to high for the amount you get. On a better note the clams and the fried rice were great. The bread is also nice with a sweet butter. Drinks are good and overall environment was fantastic. Just watch what you order

Our server Jake was great, he always checked in on us to make sure our food was good and to see if we needed anything else. Once we placed our orders, the food came out in less than 15 minutes and the cocktails had a lot of alcohol in it. Can’t complain! If you’re craving for oysters and clams, this is the place to be! Clam chowder also tasted heart and it came with oyster crackers.

The sushi and fish are of the highest caliber however these are American sized portions. The sushi rolls are $30 here and will feed two. where most places you get a $20 roll and a $15 roll and you have two different experiences. The downfall of such large portions is that if you’re here with one other person or just yourself, it takes away the opportunity to have variety.. You’re gonna get filled up on just one thing that you order.

Came to papa’s late at like 9:30 and was very happy they still took us. Jake was our server and the absolute man, and we got our orders in quickly. The vibes were great outside and I could see this place getting super packed. Friendly staff, good environment and solid food. There’s a rotation of fish and such but I’d definitely come back.

Papa’s Raw Bar is a seafood lover’s dream! Hands down the freshest oysters I’ve found anywhere in the country — each one brimming with ocean-fresh flavor. The sushi is next-level, absolutely packed with fish, and the whole fried fish? Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside — a total showstopper. The vibe is laid-back yet buzzing with energy — the kind of place you can visit for a special night out or just to satisfy that sudden craving for incredible seafood. Service was flawless — huge shoutout to Hugo, our server, who was attentive, personable, and made the whole experience even better. And the prices? Very fair for the amount of fish you’re getting and the unmatched quality they serve. Papa’s isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience you’ll crave again and again. We’ll definitely be back!

My boyfriend took me out on a dinner date here last night. It was my first time here, and I absolutely loved the place! I loved the South Florida beach themed decor, and the service was fantastic. Everyone was super friendly, and the food came out quickly. I ordered the panko fried snapper with broccoli and sweet potato fries. The snapper was fried perfectly, the broccoli was steamed just right, and the sweet potato fries were addicting. They had the right amount of salt, which gave them a sweet and savory taste. My boyfriend got the fried lobster macaroni and cheese. I tried some of it, and it was delicious! It was so cheesy! We also shared the shrimp tempora sushi roll as an appetizer. So much flavor! I can't wait to come back to this place.

Dang if it didn't take me decades to come across this place. A great hidden gem in Lighthouse Point. A great staff and an inviting atmosphere. The staff is kind and courteous. Every customer is greeted with a smile. Everything on the menu is delicious. Haven't found anything I don't like yet. The chowder is thick and tasty. The shrimp are dynamite. The swordfish bites are phenomenal. Everything is cooked to perfection. The beers are only $6. This is clearly a spot for the locals but they let us in to experience the experience. What a great place to relax and enjoy an afternoon of good seafood and great beverages. They really did an amazing job with the decor. Well done all around. Parking definitely gets a little tight at times. Indoor and outdoor seating. Be sure to day hi to Kim. She's a real sweetheart and she knows what you're going to ask for before you say it. You won't go wrong at Papa's Raw Bar, highly recommend adding the stop to your South Florida visit itinerary.
